Kevin Graham

My name is Kevin Graham. I am coming from my alma mater Frisco Wakeland, where I also coached for 5 years. This is my 10th year in education and coaching, and 3rd year as the Head Boys' Basketball Coach at Panther Creek. At Wakeland I was a member of the 2019-2020 coaching staff of the year, and we won 2 district championships at each competitive level. Before coaching I played college basketball at Austin College. College taught me a lot about perseverance, attitude, and determination. College is where I learned that there are many good basketball players out there, and that the difference maker is someone's mental toughness. These are some of the winning components that I am looking to bring to Panther Creek. Helping others, playing basketball, and making an impact on kids' lives through education and sports is the reason I chose to become a coach. I am excited to build on the gains we have seen from last year and create a competitive atmosphere in our program. I want kids to dream big and shock themselves when they see what they truly are capable of accomplishing with faith and hard work. This is something that I learned from my grandmother: Every kid needs a champion. Someone who will push them, believe in them, and support them as they navigate their way through life. My overall goal is to be that champion for every kid in our program, as my grandmother was that person for me. We have a lot we want to accomplish this year, and behind the leadership of our first graduating class, I am confident we will have a great year!
